At Bozeman's PechaKucha Night on September 9 and 10, 2014, Michael assisted my presentation "Beyond Reservations - Native Americans in Europe." We started out by introducing my documentary film project, the various filming locations all over the world, and some of the main interviewees. We explored the issues of identity that expatriate Native Americans are confronted with - especially the misperception that "real" Indians never leave the reservation.
I hope that this PechaKucha talk, and eventually my film, will expand perceptions and empower my vision of a new Native American identity beyond race and tribal reservations.
